![]() I'm going to check second hand fanatec kit on ebay, I may be luck there. I was checking the Logitech G920, is exactly the same wheel that I had several years ago, it seems is never evolved. Going back to the T3PA Pro pedals though after the V3i's I thought would be a grind and it was for a few days until the V2's arrive but I have adapted back and am doing Ok with them,T500RS is indeed quite salty now, I think is out of production because just a couple of stores have them here in the UK for over £600 ![]() Before jumping into Project Cars 3, ensure you have your wheel settings to the below in the G. It isn't that cut and dried any more though, in the price range of 250 ish TM are the best to aim for, Logitech G29 and G920 are crap imo, G25 and G27 peaked, I would buy either of those second hand over the newer Logitechs. If you are racing on PC, you can access the Logitech G Hub. Going back to the T3PA Pro pedals though after the V3i's I thought would be a grind and it was for a few days until the V2's arrive but I have adapted back and am doing Ok with them, I am on the upgrade though from a T500 to an Accuforce DD wheel so am going deep into the rabbit hole, recently bought the V3i pedals but sold them to fund the DD wheel and switching to V2 pedals as they are decent and got them in a trade deal, it never ends though lol. I can't really see any other choices between those, personally I would go for a lightly used G25/27 for 150 over the T300 for double myself. You are then down the rabbit hole into DD wheels. ![]() You then get to Fanatec which are nice but are still belt drive and for a full V2.5 plus wheel plus V3 pedals will be near the 1000 quid mark. T300 has crappier pedals and has some manufacturing issues with failures, if you get a good one it has more detail than a T500 and is available for sub 300. G25/G27 can be had second hand for around 150 quid lightly used which is where I would start, then onto TM wheels, I went G25 to T500 RS GT6 model which doesn't suffer from the overheat issues of the GT5, good wheel I paid 350 quid for new but they are silly money now, pedals are an upgrade from Logitech and T300 but the wheel has more friction from the belt which makes RX and drifting harder than the G25. Pin-point gear selection, realistic console, and 900-degree steering rotation bring driving games to life. My G25 gave me good service for 8 years and I sold it cheap to a club member and it's still going strong and I clocked up I reckon over 250k on it. LOADS of choicesIt isn't that cut and dried any more though, in the price range of 250 ish TM are the best to aim for, Logitech G29 and G920 are crap imo, G25 and G27 peaked, I would buy either of those second hand over the newer Logitechs. To Logitech/TM wheel, great fun, will wear out if used a lot but like the hole not so deep pockets required. will last basically forever and is as good as you can get. Thats a "rabbit hole" question, depends on how far down it you want go.ĭirect Drive Wheel.
